Lovely quirky apartment wish we had been able to stay longer

Very charming and creative design while keeping the old world vibe. It is quiet and is right off the piazza napoleone. We were able to easily walk to and from the train station and the host was very accomodating
Adorable kitchen but the stove and oven were disconnected. I wasn’t expecting g to cook but once I saw it I wanted to make something

Location was very good in relation to the main sights in Lucca. Close to the train station. The apartment was spacious with a good bathroom, reasonably comfortable bed, and decent kitchen, though there was no electric jug or kettle which I found strange. Key access was easy. Lots of windows which I liked.
Access was down a dark and dirty alley-way which was a bit spooky at night as I am a solo traveller. Also up about 50 steep stone stairs once inside which was not a particular problem for me as I am fit and travel lightly, but would be an issue for some. The apartment decor was tired and dated, but I guess that’s a taste thing as other reviewers have liked it. The bed linen felt quite old and not fresh. Again that’s a personal thing.
