Into The Wild Sigiriya

We stayed 2 nights Peaceful, great room shower and tea coffee facilities the staff were lovely and very attentive . Little monkeys are about they have good manners and stay way from you, lovely birds. Pool open to 10pm, table tennis and games, food is good mix Sri Lankan and European. Food prices higher than local restaurants but still good value. We were out during the day sight seeing good base.

This is a very special place to stay near Sigiriya. There is a lovely pool to relax by where you are immersed in Sri Lankan nature, with monkeys swinging from the trees above and lots of birds around. We loved relaxing by the pool after our morning/early afternoon activities. The staff are absolutely exceptional- especially Nadul who made our stay extra special. He looked after us very well and made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our holiday. We also liked the comfortable bed, restaurant (order the Sri Lankan curry and rice), cocktails, free laundry service and tasty breakfast. The staff can organise any activity you would like to do. Would highly recommend!

Not much- but be prepared for lots of bugs and animals as you are in the heart of the jungle!

The pool and facilities were well maintained, there is a restaurant and bar within the property if you don’t prefer to leave the accommodation.

The only downside about the property is that you have to take transport to get around.

Overall, it was a good stay with the very helpful staff providing excellent service at all times. Located off the main road amidst a forested patch where elephants roam around in evening hours. The room balcony, pool and restaurant has nice comfortable sitting spaces for relaxing.

Food options at the in-house restaurant are limited with not much variety. Given that there are no decent places to eat nearby within a walking distance, it can be an issue.
