Questa moderna casa con 4 camere da letto e 3 bagni sull'isola Lieutenant è stata costruita nel 1994, è luminosa e ariosa, ben arredata, dotata di tutti i comfort abituali ed è abbastanza privata. Le incantevoli spiagge sabbiose dell'isola sono raggiungibili con percorsi sulle dune in circa 5 minuti. Ci sono due ponti, un grande ponte con accesso dal soggiorno e un ponte più piccolo al secondo piano, al largo della camera da letto principale. Il piano principale, che ha un'unità A / C a parete, ha una pianta aperta con cucina, sala da pranzo e soggiorno con cursori che conducono al ponte del primo piano, nonché una camera da letto con letto matrimoniale e un bagno con vasca e doccia. Al secondo piano c'è una grande camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale, un ponte e un bagno adiacente, nonché altre due camere da letto, una con una regina e una con due letti singoli con un altro bagno. We loved the island and proximity to the beach. Wonderful visit overall. House is well laid out. Well equipped kitchen although the dishwasher could use replacing as the racks are quite rusty. 3 bedrooms do not have AC and between warmer summers and having to keep all windows closed due to "no see-ums" (in July), paddle and portable fans were not sufficient. We were unable to sit outside day or night due to bugs. The master bedroom adjoining bath has no shower (which isn't in the listing) and is shared with the twin bedded room which isn't clear in the listing. It also says "a queen [bedroom} and one with two twin beds with another bath". That bath is in the upstairs queen room and not shared with the queen and twin rooms. The bathrooms need more towel racks or hooks to hang towels.To avoid losing our time slot, we had to sign a lease while we were out of the country, but requested doing an on site visit on our return to make sure the house met our parameters. The lease even states that viewing the property is highly recommended. However, after numerous attempts, we were told we couldn't see the house because "we typically don't show vacation rentals or the homes don't show well because they're not rental ready". From what we could tell, the homeowner uses slipcovers on the living room furniture and covers the dining room table with a pad and table cloth which is totally understandable and could easily have been addressed during a visit. Our experience with the agent wasn't great.

We have had another fine stay at 35 Fifth Street. The house is meticulously maintained and equipped. It was perfect when our son and his family visited; they could just use the entire upper floor, with a separate bedroom for each of the older children. For the two of us, it is a peaceful, secluded house. Air conditioning in the master bedroom and downstairs is a plus; we needed it several days this summer.

We have come back to this house several times because it is very comfortable, well-equipped, and spacious enough to house our son's family of 3 children when they visit. The secluded setting provides true privacy. It is clear that the owner takes great care of the property both inside and out.
