Wild Cottages Luxury and Natural

This hotel is amazing. Despite many other resorts, this place is not far from the city center. You can find restaurants, cafes, bars, massage, 7/11 and almost everything you need in the vicinity. So you can experience serenity and privacy but at the same time, not feeling isolated. I almost had everything in my room including a bath tub. Many things were provided including hats for sunny days and umbrellas for rainy days. The private pool was so nice and clean with extraordinary view. They have buggy services to take you to the top. The staff were so polite and professional. They have a QR code for things you want to order from your room, however my app didn't work but they offered their What's app line instead which worked quite well. The responses were so fast. I requested breakfast at a certain time and right at that time, 2 nice ladies showed up to cook the breakfast in the suite kitchen. They quickly cooked a delicious breakfast. I also wanted to check out at 9:20 and staff were ready sharp at 9:20 to help me with my baggage. My ride to the airport which was reserved by them was also exactly on time. This hotel certainly went beyond my expectations.

Only 2 minor issues: 1st: The reception closes at 20:00. I'm sure they have their own reasons but I personally prefer a reception which stays longer or ideally a 24 hour reception. 2nd: I came back at night after the reception was closed. I had a really hard time to find my own suite. It took me around 10 minutes to find it which consisted of climbing up and down many stairs. It would be nice if there were some maps or signs around to show where a certain villa is. ( unless there are such things around and I have completely missed it in the darkness of night) I consider both of these issues minor, compared to the great time I had in this hotel and that is why this place absolutely deserves a 10/10.

Staff are amazing, the service is exceptional.

This is not a place for small kids! Families with small kids shouldn’t take this hotel. The pool is very dangerous for them and they can also fall from open spaces in walls few meters high. Also the rooms not suitable for small children.

Our stay at Wild Cottages Resort was, unfortunately, a disappointing experience, largely due to poor customer service from the reception and the owner, compounded by several maintenance issues. Upon arrival, we were immediately frustrated to find a broken dishwasher, a malfunctioning air conditioning unit in the living area, and a broken deck fan. These issues significantly impacted our comfort and enjoyment, as we had expected a well-maintained property for the price. When we raised these concerns with the reception, the response was lackluster at best. The staff seemed indifferent, and it was only after persistent complaints that the owner offered a 15% discount as compensation. However, this gesture felt hollow when, at checkout, they initially refused to honor the promised discount. It was only after I firmly voiced my disappointment that they reluctantly agreed to process a refund through bookings.com. This experience left us feeling undervalued as guests and highlighted a lack of professionalism and accountability from the management. While the resort may have potential, the combination of maintenance issues and the unprofessional handling of our complaints made this stay far from enjoyable. We expected better communication and follow-through from the owner and staff. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Wild Cottages Resort based on this experience, and we hope they address these issues for future guests.
