Rachel's might be the cleanest accommodation I have ever visited. Upon entry, our rooms were fresh and clean without smelling like scented cleaning products (environmental sensitivities in our group). The beds and linens made for a comfortable sleep away from home (rare!) Being able to have our dog with us was one of the main reasons we chose Rachel's and we really appreciated having that option.
This comment is for all accommodations: providing a few feminine hygiene supplies in the room would be very helpful, particularly for more rural accomodations where it isn't easy to pop out to a store.

Proximity to the ferry to NS. Turned out ferry was cancelled and we had to route back to Confederation Bridge due to stormy weather.

The beds were comfortable and the a/c helped with the humidity from outside (felt like 33)
From our arrival, the front desk service wasn’t the friendliest, upon entering the cottage, it was much smaller than the pictures presented, no microwave, no doors on the bedrooms (not certain why there were drapes that went only halfway from the top and not all the way down to the floor) and when we checked out, front desk never asked how our stay was or any conversation or thank you have a great day!
