Vicino a tutto camminare per 3 isolati fino al famoso palazzo del comandante, passeggiare lungo querce e ville fiancheggiate St. Charles Ave, vai in anticatura su Magazine St, cavalca la St. Charles Streetcar arriva fino al quartiere francese o fino alle università e al parco Audubon, visita il Museo della Seconda Guerra Mondiale e pranza in una miriade di ristoranti che fanno di New Orleans un paradiso per i buongustai.

Questo appartamento restaurato con cura è di 3 piani e può ospitare fino a 6 persone (massimo 4 adulti, per la città di New Orleans). C'è un ingresso privato con un cortile e un balcone al secondo piano. La bella cucina nuova ha tutto il necessario per cucinare un pasto, se mai ti stancherai di cenare fuori. C'è un bagno completo al secondo piano e un mezzo bagno al piano terra. Ci sono due camere da letto, una al secondo piano e una al terzo, e due salotti. C'è un comodo divano letto full size nel soggiorno al secondo piano e un altro divano letto nel salotto al piano terra. Lenzuola e asciugamani di alta qualità sono forniti. C'è una lavatrice e asciugatrice nei locali. Il parcheggio in strada è solitamente facile da trovare. Il parcheggio fuori strada potrebbe essere disponibile dall'altra parte della strada.

This property was a very comfortable and safe place to stay in the Garden District. We were in town for a medical conference as well as a little fun. The house was 2 short blocks from the St. Charles Trolley which will take you right to the French Quarter for a reasonable price. It is a pleasant and safe way to get around if you do not rent a car. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. She let us store our luggage when we got into NOLA prior to our check in time as we wanted to start exploring the city without dragging our luggage around. She immediately refunded our deposit after our visit and was kind enough to send an itemized receipt so that me and my 2 travel partners could be reimbursed by our companies. Thanks for a great stay!

Yet again, another memorable New Orleans stay. We found the home to be very comfortable and nicely remodeled, while the character of this 150+ year old home is preserved. The home is very centrally located. It is one block off of the St Charles line, which is a great east/west transportation choice for the visitor, and fare is $1.25/$3 for an all day pass. It is a very scenic line that runs all the way from the outskirts of Loyola (to the west) to Canal Street , which starts the French Quarter. A 6 block walk towards the river puts you in the more vibrant area of Magazine Street. Great shopping, dining, and scenic Garden District walks. The area also contains the most historic cemetaries, which is a quintessential tourist activity. The home is stocked with everything you need. A very nice supply of linens and supplies. The kitchen is well stocked, although we find the massive number of eateries in New Orleans too good to pass up. A point of note: The layers of floors and stairwells add to the charm of these old properties. Since the main bedroom is accessed by the main stairwell, it will prove challenging for people who have difficulty walking or climbing stairs.

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 younger kids) stayed here for a few days over Thanksgiving break. We enjoyed our stay and loved the location since it was only 2 blocks away from the St. Charles street car, which we caught daily to visit downtown. The unit itself is in the back of the house (so you would enter through the side gate to access your front door in the back). The place was clean, updated and had everything we needed. The unit does feature two sets of narrow stairs (for the 3 floors) so definitely not recommended for anyone very old (and you would need baby gates for toddlers or crawling babies). The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets for everyone. The decor was also very nice. The kitchen was well-stocked as well although we ate out most of the time. The owner welcomed us warmly and made sure she was available for any questions or concerns. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place.

Great place to stay
Having visited New Orleans many times in my life, this was one of my favorite visits. The location of this unit is absolutely perfect. The inside was very comfortable and perfectly suited for our trip (2 couples traveling together). The owners checked in periodically to make sure everything was good and that we didn't need anything. They were quick to respond when I had questions. I would highly recommend this unit and look forward to renting it again when I come back to New Orleans.
