The location for snorkeling trip was great. On a snorkel trip we saw plenty of fish, a turtle and baby shark. The beach was lovely for relaxing. Some of the meals we had in the restaurant were nice.

The resort was very dated, and didn't match the photos online. When we arrived our room was very shabby, hadn't been properly cleaned and had exposed electrical wires. We asked to move rooms and were given a new one, which better matched the quality in the photos advertised. Our friends also staying at the resort had to change rooms during their stay due to a leak in the ceiling of their room. The menu at the main the restaurant advertised a range of drinks, but when we tried to order them, were told they didn't have them as they were in the other bar. They should shorten the menu if they can't provide it all. The beach bar didn't open at advertised times. We partly booked the resort due to having a beach bar so we could relax with drinks and watch the sunset.

We have been going to Berjaya since 1990s and we love it but although it is still beautiful the fire which burned down the old eating place was sad but they have not made it better. Also there are lots of sandflies now which there never used to be. But the friendliness of the staff was first class and the beach was lovely sea so clear. The activities are not as easy to organise also due to the old diving centre shutting down

Room service was only small criticism- very slow when used on one occasion and plates not picked up the next day.

Good location, but the facility is old, and the hotel room is too old, seems not clear, especially for the bath room.

Chinese restaurant: we order Yong Chew Fried Rice, and one vegetable, one crispy squid. Surprisedly, offered us additional 2 bowls of white rice, which is part of the set. Too much rice us 2 of us, but the staff did not tell us in advance.

The hotel location was fantastic. Activities on offer were also great. Helpful staff who helped us pick out the right activities for us.

The property desperately needs upgrading to justify. a lot of potential with the unique hut layouts but the interiors are very basic. Food quality is very low for a hotel of this standing. Hardly any options too. After two days, we know exactly what to expect at the next meal. On a side note, it was also strange to see that there were always staff members eating at the same buffet meals as guests and seated at the restaurant near us. We were not sure if this is a common practice.

Facilities are very good. The room is clean. All the staffs are friendly and helpful.
