We had a wonderful time in the cottage. It was the first time we met in person as well after a year of being friends online. It’s also a really cute town.

Though finding the property was a bit of a challenge as the road looks like a driveway and the street sign is completely blocked, we were so happy with the cute, tucked away cottage.
The place was clean and inviting and we were easily able to walk the mile to town for dinner and drinks. So happy we stayed.

Very nice stay at Schroon Lake. Check in/out was easy. Hosts were very friendly and responsive to questions. Lovely spot at the lake shore. House was well appointed.

The unit was very clean & comfortable. Enjoyed the firepit with the moon & stars over the lake. The rental had everything we needed.

Easy booking and communication! The unit was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is part of a 4 unit building, but the other 3 units are being remodeled and were empty- so we had the property to ourselves- which was perfect! You are very close to neighbors, but we traveled late August and the neighbors did not seem to be visiting when we were. Nice rustic feel to the apartment. We enjoyed the enclosed/screened side porch. Given the proximity of neighbors- perhaps an optional curtain on the french doors to allow for night time privacy would be nice- but we had no problem as is overall!
Bedding and sofa very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed and even came with a few hostess gift treats.
The little beach area is nice for evening, but we prefer the public beach for swimming as this side of the lake is mushy bottomed and very shallow. Perfect for kayak launch, though!

A hidden treasure for sure
We had the best long weekend. Cute, clean place. So close to town, loved having our own piece of beach and the lake. Host was so helpful and friendly (so were the neighbors). Will definitely be staying again!

Stayed here for the ADK Marathon Festival and had a great time in this well-equipped, clean place. Very conveniently located, walking distance to town and the beach. We all enjoyed spending the evening on the beach with a fire and got to see the festival's fireworks with a front-row view. Would be happy to stay here again!

I actually hate writing a good review for this place because I would love to keep it a secret. The house was perfect for me and two friends. The lake is an easy walk down a grassy path to the beach. The beach set up was perfect and the owners left wood for us for the first night’s fire. We probably could have gotten two nights out of it but the atmosphere was so lovely we didn’t want to go in. We kayaked from the beach both days we were there and it is a one minute drive to stores in town.

This two bedroom apartment was just as shown. The location was so nice as well. It was a very quiet neighborhood. Lake views from the sunroom, dining room, and front bedroom. Simply follow the path to the lake. The lake is clean with an amazing view. Parking was simple and next to the front door. The town is such a cozy, friendly community with plenty of shops and restaurants. You can also enjoy the beautiful lake while in town. I hope to stay here again soon.

This two bedroom apartment was just as shown. The location was so nice as well. It was a very quiet neighborhood. Lake views from the sunroom, dining room, and front bedroom. This was the perfect place for our weekend. Lots of hiking in the area. Was nice to come back to the house and sit by the fire on the lake. Relaxing with a great view. Check in couldn’t have been easier and the house was clean and had everything we needed.

The cottage is part of other units not an independent one though we had no other persons staying in other units. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans and dishwasher.Had coffee maker and Keurig .The bathroom was slightly small in size though but the shower was excellent and had enough towels.Had nice games and toy stuff for the kids.The picture makes it feel that the beach is right next to the cottage which is not .we had to walk thru a marked pathway and a very small patch is for private use.We enjoyed our stay .The town is close by and we had lovely walks by the beach ,hiking bakery and restaurants to go to.We could not rent boats just for few hours.There they most rent by days.
