Great location, situated in town so perfect access to shops, bars the castle and restaurants. Clean, plenty of seating. Comfortable bed. We had a lovely stay
The parking was a bit of a problem. Arrive early to get a space. Driving around the one way to get to the back of the hotel. Unfortunately you can’t account for bad parking some people just can’t can’t park properly….

The architecture of the building is beautiful, the interior felt grand, the room was clean with an old fashioned vibe. The property is well located, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional.
The room wasn’t well lit and could have done with lighting around the mirrors and there were no plug sockets near the bed.

Location great. We had a room in the annexe which we were told was recently renovated. However, the bath had scratches, no heating but otherwise clean. Food and staff in the bar area was great and helpful. Staff on reception helpful. Parking was a nightmare. We got lost several times. Not clear from instructions how to find car park. One way system did confuse sat nav.
Swimming pool changing facilities were poor. Small changing area. Broken shower door. The swimming pool whilst warm had sand on the bottom of the pool and decorations in this area was poor
