Itilo Traditional Hotel

The location is absolutely beautiful, and the traditional stone buildings give the hotel real character. What stood out most, however, was the staff. Everyone — from reception and management to housekeeping — was exceptionally polite, attentive and genuinely willing to help. Always patient, always smiling, and always available for any question or request. Honestly, one of the best hotel teams I have encountered anywhere. The atmosphere is also wonderfully relaxed: opening the balcony in the morning and hearing the calm sound of the sea is something special, and the restaurant is just a few steps away.

The situation

We were there 9 years ago and the restaurant is now very disappointing with no fresh fish

We stayed at the hotel for five nights. The room was spacious, with a sea view and a large veranda. Having a small fridge for cold drinks was a real plus. The room had everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very professional and friendly. There is a short drive to places worth visiting.

No suggestions for improvement.

the staff was great, the pool and area very nice, right on the beach. Good parking and large room. Coffee was great. The cleaning staff did a great job. complementary beach chairs are great, as well as the fact that we could borrow beach towels

the breakfast was ok, nothing extra and no fruit (just some apples in a basket), the hotel does show some wear and tear and for the price in off- season i would expect it to be a bit higher quality. The wifi did not work very well, I did have some issues connecting in our room. In the common areas there are no locks in the bathrooms. Not being able to throw toilet paper in the toilet which is just such a shame. The beach right under the hotel was not very well maintained, some garbage and the chairs were quite dirty.
