The hotel is ideally located for the Scillonian ferry across to the Isles of Scilly. Very near to the railway station, local buses, restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops. Clean, comfortable and convenient accommodation. There is a pub and restaurant at the hotel which serves good food and drink at reasonable prices. It can get busy, so it's good to book a table for breakfast and evening meals. Recommended.

Very friendly staff, and very comfortable bed.
Ne aware that it’s quite a trek to get luggage up the stairs and through multiple fire doors. Not much to be done about it: it’s the nature of the building. There’s no lift.

Friendly, helpful staff. Room was comfortable.The inn was 2 minutes away from bus and train stations and harbour. Food was great (appreciated Golden Age discount). Appreciated being able to store luggage
Early check out! Walls were thin so could hear occupants talking next door. Windows didn't keep out noise of traffic, although we understood that it is a historic building and that probably not much can be done about these issues.
