It was absolutely perfect. Place is incredible, the stuff super courteous, food is delicious…

This place is exceptional and we are very fussy. The grounds are very nice and large and peaceful. The room was huge and very clean and bright and just a relaxing place to be. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is nice and although outside there were no bug issues so it was very pleasant. The room overlooks the lagoon which is nice as it’s very quiet. The restaurant, bar and pool area overlooks the ocean which was nice and there are many places to sit and relax. The pool was so clean and relaxing. The restaurant area is very bright. The food was very good quality and they catered to making it more spicy upon request which is great as most restaurants in hotels reduce the spice. There was plenty of variety of food and everything was good. The cocktails were very good too. The wine was good. The food is decent price for this type of place. The service from everyone in the hotel was exceptional they were all perfect as they knew what one wanted or needed and they were friendly and helpful but not in your way all the time or over the top like many other places. The wifi worked well. Rhey also organised transport to our next destination. The beach is nice to walk and we don’t generally swim in the beach anyway so this place was perfect for us. The breakfast was yum, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfast. The owner, Nick was also very friendly and clearly put a lot of effort into making sure people are happy. Everything was just perfect and the staff were great which made it so nice and made us not want to leave the property at all for the two days which is not like us at all but this place is very relaxing and a must stay when coming to Sri Lanka.

Nothing we loved it all.

The staff and service were exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is possible - a yoga mat and googles were easily produced! It really is a beautiful place, the room was just amazing! Little touches that show Nick and his team are truly seeking to provide perfection. We loved that breakfast could be had at any time and was not a buffet but very decent. Menu changed and there was a good selection that was beautifully presented and everything tasted fantastic. The infinty pool is fabulous and one you can actually swim lengths in too... not some silly shape!

It's not considered safe to swim in the sea next to the hotel - but it is a nonetheless a spectacular beach and virtually deserted.

Absolutely lovely and welcoming staff

This is a little piece of paradise and our only wish was that we could have stayed longer. The room, grounds and facilities were immaculate and spacious, with all the little details being taken care of. The staff were attentive and friendly and our individual needs were always thought of. The secluded beach was gorgeous and the pools also great, and the best spa treatments we have had in Sri Lanka. Kalpa and the team made our stay very special.
