Location

Staff were never at the counter or available to come when we called. They tried to cancel our booking the day before and weren’t going to help us book elsewhere. There was also blood stains on one of the bedsheets. The location was not worth the money or stress and will not stay there when we come back next year.

Good location to shops and supermarkets, handy to the Airport and Wellington City. The kitchenette was nice and modern, clean and tidy. Car parks outside. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

The TV wasn't working when arrived, no romote in the room. Some of the cookware in the kitchen was still dirty. Blinds were broken and mouldy, bathroom window had a crack on it. A few added touches like a bathroom fan, also one in the kitchen area would be a bonus. Also a curtain or blind that would block out the outside light, as this shone onto the beds. The front porch area could've done with a clean, sweep and little garden planter boxes shown abit more love. Hope this is helpful.

Comfortable bed

I booked my room online and then paid on arrival. Then they told me that the TV wasn't working. When I pointed out that this wasn't good service they didn't even offer me a discount. Very poor as this was advertised but not delivered. It also took a long time for them to attend to my arrival. I gave a time frame for arrival on booking and received a confirmation message, as it was after office hours. I arrived within the time frame stated and acknowledged but couldn't get any response from the office. I finally rang the mobile number given and told the lady who answered who I was and that I was here to check in. She still didn't turn up and I rang again after 5 mins. She then opened the office to check me in. She seemed surprised at my arrival and informed me that the family were out to dinner when I booked. Surely you should have some sort of alert to notify you when people book if you are going to have an online booking system? Not very efficient. Also had similar issues checking out! Overall not a great stay. The window whistled with wind coming in all night, no mirror anywhere and mildew all ingrained around the perimeter of the shower! Wouldn't recommend staying.
