Easy to reach from the A road, Malton within reach, lovely to pass Kirkham Priory each day, perfect for reaching Castle Howard and the Howardian villages.
The cottage is wonderfully decorated within everything you would need and situated in a perfect country village.

Beautiful stone cottage in a lovely rural location with lovely countryside walks from the front door.
Everything was there that we could possibly need!
Very spacious and comfortable.
Friendly and helpful owner who helped us out when we had an unexpected incident on our last evening. Thank you!
Excellent pub within 50 metres of the cottage, super Sunday lunch!

We had the most perfect stay! The cottage was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything (and more). The welcome hamper was such a thoughtful touch—and a complete lifesaver the next morning. You can really feel the care the owners have put into every detail.
Part of me was tempted to score it lower just to keep it a hidden gem, but it truly deserves top marks—we will definitely be back!
They also went above and beyond for our dog, which made the stay even more special.
