Great location nice that you have your own shower and toilet for your room

The bunks are the metal spring the only problem was every time someone moved in bed the springs squeaked if upgraded to timber frame beds would make for a better night’s sleep

First of all,the staff was very nice! The price and availability were by far better then any other place i found on the island! They have a good common area in which you can cook or just seat for a beer with fellow backpackers. The location is right near a bus stop which is super comfortable for a public transportation based backpackers such as myself-and the public transportation gets you to many parts of the island(but not all) Also its right near a wee pub which i really liked and some local restaurants (including their own) The place was clean and was well taken care of,every day. Also the name of the place is cool and isle of skye is my favorite place in Scotland and one of the most beautiful places ive ever seen in my life!!

The check in is after 4pm,but its not a big issue, the staff let me keep my stuff in the common area till the check in which i appreciate. The showers were super small and im not even that big haha but thats totally ok because of all the pros of the place.

Price and location were the main draws. Obviously it’s basic because it’s a hostel. But it was clean and comfortable and the gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.

The location was near where we wanted to explore . There was a nice view of the castle ruins and the harbor. The room was clean. The linens were clean. The bathroom was clean. Eat before you go, otherwise you may go hungry!

We booked a specific room, and when we arrived it was changed to a different room. The room was closed and hot. (at the very top of the house, maybe a converted attic?) If you're over 5' you will hit your head. We had to open the windows and hope for a breeze. There are no fans to circulate any air. The roll away bed was barely thicker than a comforter. We were told on the phone that the restaurant was open . When we arrived, we were turned away. No room, no food, etc. Didn't matter that we were staying there. (told on the phone to mention that we were guests) SO that was really terrible because there are not many places to eat. All were closed, and we were at the mercy of the grocery store and thankfully there were some frozen food options.
