Hotel La Casa de Judy

Breakfast was good. The hotel was undergoing renovations. It's in a great location, walking distance to everything we were doing. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There was plenty of space in the room for our whole family, and we were grateful to return home for a relaxing swim and our air conditioned room after a long day of adventures. The staff was very friendly, and location is close enough to everything to walk, but far enough from the main road to be quiet and peaceful at night.

Our guide arranged for us to have a late check out with the manager due to a morning tour. This was not communicated to all the staff which caused a hurried and stressful misunderstanding for check out. Maybe the staff/Mgr could implement a communication log book so that all staff can be updated on things when staff turns over for the day/shift.

Some good features, nice pool, quiet neighbourhood easy walk to main street.

Doors block zero noise from outside. Our room was beside stairs and people leaving super early sounded like they were in our room.

The staff was nice and the breakfast was good. ( toast, jams, juice, eggs, yogurt). View from the roof was stunning. However I went in late June and the weather was mostly cloudy so no one was on the roof. I heard most places on the island aren’t very social

I’d say the room was basic. The air conditioning was broken and I asked for it to be fixed twice and it never was. The hotel wasn’t on the Main Street. So know you’ll have to walk. It’s not far. Maybe 4 blocks to the end of the Main Street. And about 15 min from what I’d consider the main center. Taxis are all $1.5 or $2 all over town ( I can’t remember because it changed based on which island) but overall cheap. So you can just grab a taxi if you don’t want to walk. you’ll never wait more than 5 min to find one. Overall the place was good it just wasn’t worth the price. I spent more thinking I’d get more but I think you can get the same basic room for a lot less and much closer into town. There was no atmosphere. I stayed in a private double but it had no view. The hotel seemed empty and I asked if I could have a room with a view but they were going to charge me a crazy price more. overall not worth it at any level.
