Andrés, the owner, really takes care of his guests. The apartment is conveniently located (two blocks away from the main street and three from the waterfront) and has everything you may need (kitchenette, small living/dining room area, big bedroom and private bathrooms).

Andres the host is the nicest person I've met. My father got injured during one of the trips and Andres helped us with everything we needed. He even came to the hospital to help translate. Even after we left his apartment he stayed in touch with us and made sure we were OK. The apartment was spacious and warm and the kitchen is well equipped. It was amazing. I definitely recommend it to anyone who's staying in Ushuaia.

We had an amazing stay at Ukurj Apartamentos and recommend it 100%! The place is airy, spacious and has a perfect central location - it's close from a supermarket, restaurants and the port where you can take many great excursions on the Beagle Channel. The entire building is maintained with a lot of care. Andres (the host) is communicative, attentive, helpful and amazing person to be around!

I had an amazing stay at Ukurj. The main reason for me to book this accomodation was the excellent reviews at Booking regarding Andrés, and I wasn't at all disappointed! He was very kind and welcoming, gave us great tips about Ushuaia and recommended some of the best restaurants we tried there. He's always willing to help and even offered to lend us money at our arrival in case we didn't had exchanged in advance. You won't be disappointed with him! The accomodation is very comfortable and close to the main street, there's a mini market nearby for daily groceries and a bakery with very delicious food! Everything worked fine and we didn't have any issues.

The location is perfect, close to many shops and the city center but without the noise of the cars and the main avenue! The property itself is big enough, the beds are comfortable, good pressure in the shower and hot water as expected! We had a balcony for having breakfast looking at the mountains, just perfect! Each room has its own heater, but we used the one in the dinner room for the entire apartment and it was enough!

The internet connection is quite slow and goes in and out. Not sure if it’s this place in particular or the connection in general in Ushuaia.
