Perfect, safe, easy to get to and so comfortable

The hotel was lovely and gorgeous, the staff were very friendly and lovely!

I enjoyed everything about the property, but the only flaw is there’s not enough rooms for everybody!

Breakfast was excellent with a great choice. Our chalet room had everything we needed for our stay. Only thing we found difficult was the stairs in our room to the bedroom they were narrow. But it didn’t spoil our stay.

Everything the hotel itself and the quirkiness of it made it charming. Staff extremely helpful and very helpful. Location was perfect for this historic town.

Large room, staff did a good job, but we didn't see any management. Breakfast was good. Could have done with a fish choicerg kipper.

I found the bed uncomfortable, but my husband found it comfortable. Carpet in room had many stains, everything looked a bit tired. Lack of pillow protectors. Needs a walk in shower and some handles around the bath. Bottled water would have been a nice touch. We wanted to entertain some friends in the afternoon on our second day, but when I asked if they did tea in the afternoon and cakes, I was told they don't do tea in the afternoon and would need 24hrs notice for cakes. I didn't want an afternoon tea, just a slice of cake and a pot of tea. We asked if there was a residents lounge we could take them to and apparently there wasn't, every room seemed to be set up for meals.
