Hotel Gajoen Tokyo is an extraordinary gem that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, I was captivated by its grandeur and rich history. The hotel seamlessly blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern luxury, creating an ambiance that is both elegant and inviting. The staff at Hotel Gajoen Tokyo provided impeccable service from start to finish. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was promptly escorted to my room. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality of the staff truly made me feel valued as a guest. Speaking of the rooms, they were a haven of comfort and style. The design elements were tasteful, incorporating traditional Japanese elements with contemporary touches. My room boasted stunning views of the city skyline, and the plush bedding ensured a restful night's sleep. The built-in sauna room is a great plus! The facilities at Hotel Gajoen Tokyo were equally impressive. The hotel houses a beautiful garden that exudes tranquility and provides a serene escape from the bustling city. Exploring the hotel's art gallery was a treat, with its stunning collection of artwork showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Japan. The location of the hotel was also advantageous. Situated in a blue-chip suburb, it provided convenient access to major attractions and transportation links. Whether I wanted to explore the vibrant streets of Shibuya or immerse myself in the charm of Meguno River, everything was easily accessible from Hotel Gajoen Tokyo.

While it is true that the walking distance from the rooms to the hotel's outside may be slightly longer than usual, it is a minor inconvenience especially if you plan to in-and-out the hotel frequently. However, the hotel's stunning beauty and unique atmosphere more than compensate for any small inconveniences. In fact, Hotel Gajoen Tokyo is designed in such a way that it offers a complete experience within its premises. You can truly unwind and immerse yourself in the hotel's offerings, including partaking in their various activities such as hotel tours, tea ceremonies, time-limited exhibitions, and even indulging in relaxing massage therapy, not to mention its 6 restaurants are all top notch. With such a comprehensive range of services and experiences available, I wholeheartedly rate a perfect 10/10 rating for this one-of-a-kind establishment. Hotel Gajoen Tokyo leaves a lasting impression on its guests, ensuring a memorable and fulfilling stay.

I absolutely love this hotel and every time I come to Tokyo I just want to stay here. is a real Japanese experience and the level of the staff is second to no other hotel. Rooms are large, clean and very charming. the position is not very central but is extremely well connected and takes only 15 minutes by car to go to Minato-ko, Rappongi or Shibuya.

We received a very bad dining recommendation which is disappointing on the other hand the staff was very apologetic for the inconvenience.

Staying at Gajoen was like stepping into different world. From the old school hospitality and expedience of service to the gigantic complex that is filled with unique art and sculptures, the place does an amazing job of swallowing you up and making you feel like you really are escaping into a different space. That attention to detail extends to the rooms, which are filled with little details that add to the comfort and convenience of the space, creating a very traditional experience that has been modernized with amenities like ample power outlets and a very cool sauna system. Their approach to CoVid restrictions was also very reasonable and made us feel safe while also getting our money's worth.

There's not much to dislike here. The pathway into the hotel is a little confusing as there isn't really clear signage but that also makes sense since the hotel was an addition made later. I do wish there were an even greater connection between the rooms/experience and the art that is such a large part of the complex itself, but that is nitpicky given the quality overall.
