The room was clean and comfortable, good aircon, fridge and kettle. Shower worked well. Nice swimming pool and swimming towels provided. The location was perfect. Just one minute walk from the beach (lovely clean beach) and a few minutes up the beach each way to bars and restaurants. Breakfast was adequate - eggs, toast, fruit, coffee.

The price quoted did not include taxes, we missed this in the small print. That means when it came time to pay we got a bad surprise. We don’t think the final price gave good value compared to other places of similar standard that we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The full price should be clearly stated. The manager was very unfriendly when we raised this. It made a very lovely stay end on a negative note. Breakfast was adequate and good enough but we have had much more interesting breakfasts in other places with options of Western and Sri Lankan dishes

I liked my porch area outside my room and had some of my meals there. Room was basic but okay, and had everything you need. It was about 5 minute walk to the beach, but wasn’t sure if there are any other shops nearby, only there 2 nights. Staff were very helpful, and the food was excellent!!

The pool is quite small, and there was a strange smell in the bathroom. There was a resident frog and gecko in bathroom but I didn’t mind happy though as it meant there were no mosquitoes with them guarding!

The bungalows are contemporary in style. They have their own terrace. Large and comfortable bed. The toilet and bathroom are equipped with good fixtures. Convenient location, 150m to the beach, within a 5 minute walk there are many cafes and restaurants, a shop. On the day of departure, we were the only guests. At the hotel, check out was 10:30, since we had a night plane, we asked for a late departure (at 18:00), the manager agreed and did not take a penny for this.

The description on the booking does not correspond to what is really in the hotel! The staff itself does not know what exactly is written in the description. Bungalow cleaned poorly! Everywhere dust and cobwebs. Fingerprints on the walls near the switches. For two they gave 2 towels, 1 large and 1 small. Only after our request we were given another 1 towel and a pair of sheets to cover. For 13 nights we cleaned 2 times! We have never seen a more meager breakfast on our trips! Do not take accommodation with breakfast, it is better to go for breakfast at the nearest cafe. 3 days it was impossible to use the water supply. The smell of water was just awful! As the manager later said, a crow died in the tank. For half a day there was no electricity, there was no generator in the hotel. The territory is cleaned poorly; the garbage scattered by the monkeys has lain for a week! The manager wanted to pick up a refrigerator from our room under the pretext that another guest was entering the neighboring bungalow and he needed this refrigerator! When paying by credit card, the manager wanted to charge an additional 3% of the commission from us. I said that this is not indicated in the booking conditions, after a couple of minutes of negotiations the manager agreed not to charge a commission.
