Vila Emma

Literally everything. The room was spacious and the view of the mountain and the forest was breathtaking (attached pictures if booking will allow it), we even heard deers roaring in the night. The room and all facilities were exceptionally clean, the bed was on the firmer side but just the way I like it (and I have back problems). Big kudos for all the extra pillows! The bathroom was very spacious and functional. The sauna was an amazing addition, I loved the balcony overlooking the forest right out of the sauna! The staff was extraordinary. We had some internet issues, but they've managed to fix it fast and we also needed to change out sauna reservation and they were very helpful. And then the star of everything: the breakfast! It was one of the best I've ever had, incredible to see how much different highest quality foods can fit in such a small space, all stunningly arranged and to cater to every taste! We had smoked salmon and avocado, a great selection of eggs and various regional cheeses and cold cuts, then a variety of lush salads, spreads, fruits (including passion fruit!) and amazing crepes, muffins, croissants... Absolutely stunning!

The room was very quiet, but unfortunately a shared door with a neighboring room had little sound insulation and the neighbors were a bit chatty late in the evening. However, we politely asked them to keep it down and it was sorted!

We appreciated a self check-in. Also, we liked the breakfast - for a smaller place like Vila Emma, the offer was quite generous. The location was a great starting point for variety of hiking trails. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The beds could have been more comfortable and also we would appreciate an elevator to take all our luggage to the top of the building. The sauna was nice but could have been hotter.

Very good breakfast, nice staff, pretty room, parking, comfortable stay, sauna in the price of room.
