The room I booked I didn't get, The pool should have been open on the 20th it wasn't A week after 😔

Gorgeous sea front hotel! Really big rooms and a big spacious bed. Only stayed for 1 night but would’ve loved to have stayed longer. The gentleman on the front desk was really friendly and helpful. Fab location!

Breakfast is too early on the week days so we skipped it.

We had a sea view King Suite which was lovely, very spacious. Lovely bath with separate shower cubicle

Servicing of room had to be requested. Expected it to be done unless we opted out at the Grand Hotel. At breakfast tea and coffee was not freshly made. Expected a coffee machine and selection of tea bags. Had to ask for Earl Grey tea and was given tea bags from the kitchen but a selection was not freely available. To use the pool facility involved a complicated procedure, not properly explained. The fire alarm went off twice, once in the middle of the night. There was no information for the poor guests standing outside in their night clothes wondering when they would be able to go back in as evidently there was no fire. The staff did not explain to guests procedures nor apologise for the inconvenience. No working internal phones to use to contact reception. The hotel seemed to operate with a skeleton staff, who had to work very hard to keep guests happy.
