Helpful staff and good location apart from the park opposite, where there were a lot of drug addicts at night. Bike hire was great. Good food options nearby. Good transport connections.
Quite noisy if the windows were open

Good location, near The U and bus routes. Lots of cafes and restaurants near by, as well as a 24hr pub a couple of doors down which was very nice for a late night beer. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable.
The room did need some updating, new carpets and curtains would make it look a lot better. However it was very good value for the price paid, so we were happy with it.

- near transport stations, shops and restaurants
- about 40 min of walking to the Brandenburg Gate
- cleaning service each day
- personal very helpful and polite
- the rooms looked nothing like the pictures. We paid for a Double Deluxe, but what we got was a major downgrade.
- the hotel is very old and some renovation would be a good thing

The hotel was in a fairly good location and looked very good from the outside and within the reception area, however the rest of the hotel was very dated. That said the bed was vary comfortable and there seems to be work underway to refurbish the property. There was a tram line close to the hotel providing good access to the station and East Berlin.
Somewhat dated but work underway to refurbish the hotel.

"Great location. Historic building with lots of character and a super price."
