The location is super. Cross the road and you are in the old centre of Celle. Wonderful old town, restaurants everywhere and lots of small interesting shops. Big car park right next to the hotel, which in fact turned out to be cheaper than the few parking places provided by the hotel.
The checkin....Booking done through Booking.com, which already contains all of my personal information. Even so, I had to checkin via a standup screen/keyboard station marked "The fast lane to your room". I had to re-enter all my personal information and passport details as well as those of my wife. It took well over 10 minutes to do this. Normally I only need to hand in my passport at the reception, and they then make a photocopy of it.

Struttura semplice, ma le cose essenziali, la camera, il letto e la colazione erano di ottimo livello
