The area is perfect for all things walking distance. It is clean, comfy, and enough for two people.

I was “upgraded” to the sister hotel Goldenen Lowen without my permission (i don’t know if this is a good thing). There are barely any plugs in the room or near the beds. No full length mirror and one fan for two people during hot days isnt enough. Also be advised the advertised price on this website is not what you pay because you need to factor tourist tax.

Location is fantastic furnitures are simple but of good quality

The hotel is short staffed and The employees are clearly overworked and exhausted and you will feel it dramatically. I don’t blame the employees ! We have witnessed that they are working hours looks crazy with early shift in the hotel and late shifts in a restaurant associated with the hotel in the evening. This does not seem to be a one time thing but a recurring one! It really negatively affected our stay and I really felt sorry for the employees.

Locatiin is great

Price for service and room is too expensive. The bathroom was not great. Shower tray was getting blocked and toilet was moving. I asked for a shampoo and it was only 1 small bottle waa given to me by them stating that they did not have many. Breakfast was very poor.

Good location. Enough space in the bathroom. Good pressure on water pipes and very hot water. comfortable bed.

To be fair to future guests, the owners should consider a couple of things to change or mend. The room door needs fixing. In general, while being in a quiet place of the town, the hotel suffers from the noise the doors make when guests leave their rooms. The bathroom only contains a bathtub, which makes showering without spilling water everywhere in the bathroom almost impossible. I asked for parking but never got an answer. I expected an answer before arriving but neither the Booking.com BOT nor the lady at the reception did respond. All in all it felt the hotel had seen better times, and considering the prize and the class (three stars) I felt this was overpriced.

That was written, that we can check in till 23:00. But when we arrived around 18:30 the hotel was closed and after I called the hotel they told that the check in in the hotel is till 17:00 and we have to come to another restaurant to check in. The thing is that I called the hotel at the same day to ask if we need extra corona test, I mentioned the arriving time and they didn’t say anything. And when I called after arrival the girl on the phone was really rude that it’s kind of my fault and I should have read the information properly. Couple of days before arriving they wrote in Booking app if we would come and I answered yes, and asked about corona test. No one answered me. Looks like the communication between the hotel and booking customers fails.
