Kruger Gate Hotel

Great location near one of the entrances. Excellent organization for the morning safari, using their own jeeps and providing a packed breakfast. A very impressive dinner accompanied by dancers and musicians. The hotel grounds are beautiful and peaceful.

Monkeys visited our friend's room twice because the terrace door was broken and could not be locked. His luggage was scattered all over the room, there was a terrible smell, and it was an extremely unpleasant experience. There was no compensation or apology from the hotel for the inconvenience caused.

Loved the property and the perks that comes with the property viz the breakfast & dinner buffet which is included in the rate and their pool deck overviewing the Kruger National Park. They have a lavish buffet which will definitely spoil you while you are there and you’ll spot animals from their pool deck area. We spotted Hyena, Hippos and Elephants from the pool deck. Also, the Kruger National Park is literally 2-3 minutes away from the property. Loved everything property as they have almost everything from gym to tennis/ golf court etc. Last but not the least, their staff is really good and ensure your requests are taken care of while at the property and also while you are enquiring and understanding things related to the Safari. Special thanks to Bongcheka from Safari desk and Athenkosi for being such a sport and assisting in all my queries wrt game drives and reservations. Also, Nomadic was really kind to us during our breakfast time and ensured we are well taken care.

One needs to be mindful while planning as their stay with them is that that they do not offer basic amenities like dental and shaving kits etc., despite paying a good amount of money for the rooms. Apart from this everything else was perfect!

- next to the main Paul Kruger Gate - breakfast and dinner was very good! - nice facilities overall with great vibe - nice swimming pool overlooking the river

- we stayed at the chalet. Even though it was large, spacious and with everything we needed, it felt a bit out of context - it gave no bush or Safari vibe at all, it could have been an apartment in Germany to be honest - remodel the Chalet to make sure you add more Safarj/bush vibe - the Hotel is large so there is no intimate bush vibe you get in other smaller Safari lodges

Love the location and ease of getting into the Kruger National Park. Modern up-to-date rooms.

Was super busy,nice for the hotel but I found it to crowded in gather areas for my liking.The space available in pool/river deck was over full in the prime river front,not enough loungers.
