The hotel is located in a quiet side street just around the corner from the historic harbour, in the same street as the ‘Altes Rathaus’ (old town hall)
The old hotel building has been sympathetically modernised and offers a high standard of accommodation.
My room was excellent, spacious and very comfortable.
The breakfast was wonderful and offered a comprehensive variety, probably the best hotel breakfast I have had during this visit to Germany
The staff were welcoming and friendly and made every effort to ensure I had everything I needed.
I only wish I was able to stay longer!

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum der Altstadt, unweit des Hafens. Es ist ein schönes altes Gebäude und schön hergerichtet
Der Nachteil ist, dass es keinen Fahrstuhl gibt und man dann Gepäck in die oberen Stockwerke schleppen muss
