The view to riverside is amazing. Walking distance to station. And the beach is just 5 mins walking. There are a few restaurant nearby: Indian food is just some meters away, Hamasushi,… I really like the hotel kitchen with all kitchen tools, and seasonings. There is common space for guests to play some games, working, eating… which is really nice.

Because this is a long history hotel, if you like convenient and absolute quiet, it may not for you. Because I can hear some other guests talking from my room or some sounds when I walked on wooden floor. But for me, I don’t mind at all.

Futon can be a bit uncomfortable for multiple nights. Check if the room you are choosing has private shower as we didn’t

This is one of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed at. You would expect to pay premium to stay in such a beautiful historical building in such a perfect river front location. The interior is so beautiful. The interior has been so lovingly restored, using many original materials such as the wood. Every thing is immaculately clean, the rooms, the onsen, and kitchen and common areas. And they have so many common areas with river views. Onsen available for guests, included with the stay. Free freshly brewed coffee is available every morning. The staff are so amazing. Special thanks to Dorna, but everyone was so helpful, friendly and kind. I will be back and next time I will stay longer.

We booked a double room at K's House and we were lucky to get a very spacious room with a beautiful riverside view. The check-in was easy and the facilities were ample (washer-dryer with detergent, well-stocked kitchen with plates / cups and free tea / coffee) I also liked the common areas for relaxing on a rainy day. Staff were helpful!

It is an old building so there are some signs of wear, but generally in very good condition.
