Charming property with charming hosts. Warm, helpful welcome. A delightful place to start our fortnight in France

Our timing was unfortunate as we were staying on a Sunday, and none of the local restaurants were open meaning we had to cycle back into Limoges to eat. We were well aware this might be the case and the charm and character of the place was well worth the slight inconvenience. Didn't notice when we were booking that it is cash only payment.

Our hosts were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The house has old grandeur. Our rooms were very spacious. We enhoyed our stay - one night en route further South.

Staff - everyone in the property is a solid person, eager to help. Felt like stopping by relatives more than merely conducting a transaction. The house is stunning. It's really perfect for me - squeaky stairs and floorboards. No ghosts I saw, but the place feels alive. I thought my room was about perfect.

Really weird to find. Forget using the GPS - call them or get coordinates.
