Atlantica Jungle Lodge

This hotel is a small boutique hotel, it is very calm. We stayed in room 5 for four nights. We really enjoyed our time here, we felt all the staff worked very hard to create a peaceful and relaxed stay for us. Everything was taken care of from the very beginning to the end. We loved having clean towels and our beds being made daily. The breakfast is excellent, fresh and varied for each day. We ate at the restaurant every night and enjoyed the food and setting. The kayaks were a great addition. Being so close to Lopes Mendes is a real gift and you are truly immersed in the tropical rainforest so be prepared to hear nature in full force which is magical.

The hot water took some time to warm up. I think during the hotter dryer months, this would not be an issue

It’s a beautiful property in a very secluded location. You go to sleep with the sound of animals and the waves. Could not be more peaceful. Felipe was a sweetheart of a host and so were all the other employees. The food was fantastic, like eating a hearty home cooked meal. We are already dying to come back some day.

Absolutely nothing. Only side note is that it’s only reachable by taxiboat (shared or private), and the the private ones can be a bit expensive but are the only ones going at certain times.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, all awesome people, thank to each and every one of them! We loved the location, near a beautiful beach and beautiful greenery surrounding us. We also saw a family of mermosettes from out balcony! Lopes Mendez beach is also nearby, via a pleasant 20 minute hike. Arriving by speedboat to this location makes you feel like you are in a Bond movie, it is just out of this world! Super fussy people may expect somewhere more high end, but you must remember this is an eco lodge on a more remote side of an island - everything is clean, the water pressure is good, and there is AC available when needed. The small restaurant with its balcony overlooking the sea is beautiful, andd the breakfats served at your table are fantastic. We also really liked the evening meals we had.

Very little - just the sofa in the small sitting room is very and uncomfortable, but we weren't really interested in sitting and watching TV anyway.
