Hotel Bríos

The hotel is quite new and has an interesting design in the lobby and breakfast area. The staff were helpful and the location is a little bit away from the main town centre, but there are shops and bars quite close. The rooms do not have AC but you can open fully all the windows and allow air to circulate and cool down the room somewhat. (it still was pretty hot in the room in August !). The breakfast was good with a variety of options.

We were given a twin room upon arrival (booked a double) and the staff needing some convincing to change our room. However after a long wait and one wrong key (resulting in entering a room that already had people!) this was changed (they gave us free breakfast for the inconvenience).

We wanted a hotel away from the busy historic district with quick access to the train and bus station. The hotel is also located near the monument to pilgrims and to excellent restaurants, a nice surprise

This is a family-run establishment and though we stayed just one night in the lowest of the low season, we were made to feel very welcome on our driving tour across the north. Our room was spotless, well-appointed, and we had a nice view of the tiny garden or park outside. The owners were very kind and helpful with anything we needed. The old town is a short walk away. There is a supermarket in walking distance if you need anything. You can arrange parking in their garage if you have a car, which is good because street parking was always full. Lovely people and hotel. Will definitely book again next time in the area.

Nothing.
