Viajero Tayrona Hostel & Ecohabs

Staff were friendly and very attentive, the hotel had amazing activities, communication was smooth. The beach was cool, the pool was fantastic, I loved every bit of this place. I have recommend and I will continue to recommend this place to friends and family.

En el check in el recepcionista hizo comentarios acerca de política que considero fueron innecesarios, teniendo encuenta que para estos sitios de descanso no debe haber tendencias ideológicas ni polìticas. Tambiën debo quejarme por el horario de inicio del desayuno, preguntè a que hora iniciaba el servicio y me informaron que a las 6.45am. Lleguè a las 7am y me atendieron a las 7.20am lo que afecto la actividad que tuve posterior al desayuno que fue la clase de Surf. Adicionalmente tambièn tengo una queja con respecto al pago de la clase de surf al manifestarle a la encargada (Agustina) que el pago lo iba a efectiar con tarjeta de crèdito me dice que tiene un recargo del 5%, cosa que no advirtiò antes de iniciar la actividad.

Great place for people looking to visit Tayrona park and meet other people too! The hostel organizes everyday activities, making it a great place for young people and lonely travellers. The restaurant is good, offering tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner, which is definitely a plus. Rooms are spacious and modern.

In terms of facilities, rooms have a fan but no air conditioning, therefore considering the hot and humid climate of Tayrona, feeling in the room can be a bit stuffy. Also, due to location, amount of mosquitoes is insane, therefore a mosquito net around the beds would add a nice touch. Cleaning of rooms was mediocre. Bear in mind that bathrooms are walk in/ outside of main room.

Felt like a hotel resort with nice pool and beach area

Staff was not friendly at all, felt annoyed every time I talked to them apart from the one guy who showed me my room (and seemed to be some sort of manager). Beds were too short and very hard. Food was not the best, but not too bad either.
