Our host was extremely helpful and provided hot beverages and cakes in the morning which were unexpected. The room and separate bathroom were well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. Host provided a list of restaurants and showed us some places worth visiting on the map. He also kindly offered to post postcards we had written.

The sign is small for the building, so if like us after travelling by plane, bus and train to get there it may take you a few minutes to find the correct door to the B&B. No TV. This was fine for us though as we had a toddler and mostly used the room for naps and early bedtime.

Excellent hospitality, Giuseppe provided far more than expected. Super weekend!

The proprietor made homemade "mostards," sort if a cross between chutneys and marmalades, traditional condiment in Mantova, but ran the gamut from Apple and pear to arugula, beets and peperoncini. Plus homemade yogurt!

Giuseppe is a very friendly, knowledgable and helpful host. His B&B is in an excellent city centre location. Lovely home made jams and cakes for breakfast.

The only thing was the bathroom. Although private, and very comfortable, it was situated outside the room. Normally under Booking. com guidelines, this should have been stated as private external bathroom. This did not detract too much from our very enjoyable stay.
