Although it was a continental breakfast, the selection of quality items was very extensive - second to none. Very comfortable room and a beautiful guest lounge. A lovely welcome from Joan and nothing was too much trouble.

Joan was a lovely hostess. Very friendly & the guest house had a homely feel. The location was great & though there was nowhere secure for our bikes, we were happy they were safe on the car. No noise from any other room so we slept peacefully. Breakfast was just what we needed.
The bed was quite hard & our tv wasn’t tuned in to any channels. We should’ve advised Joan but in the end, we were too tired from our daily excursions to watch it anyway.

Comfortable room with access to a Guest Lounge.
Plenty of choice at breakfast with cereals, fruit, yogurt, cold meat, cheese, rolls and more. No cooked breakfast provided which was not a problem for me.
Property a short way up the hill with easy walking distance to various parts of the town. Nice views over the sea and islands.

everything was very satisfactory, i would recommend Glenbervie to my friends. The house is very handy to nearby facilities. I very much enjoyed my stay there.

the location gave us a lovely view of the harbor. the facilities included a lounge which made a great spot for after dinner drink or conversation

We had a very comfortable and clean room with a seaview . We enjoyed the very comfortable lounge with an amazing view. The continental breakfast was excellent. A lot of thought had gone into the seamless working of the guest house.

Joan was extremely attentive to all guests. Rooms were excellent even has a communal lounge with great views over the bay. Free parking and outside seating area. Breakfast was continental but plenty of choice. Only a few minutes stroll into centre of Oban. Will definitely recommend and return.

If you are looking for a great place to stay, look no further. Glenbervie is the best place in Oban. The host is fantastic and really makes you feel at home. The location is great and close to city center and the view from the house is to die for and it really makes you not want to leave. I know when I get back, I will be staying there and I highly recommend that you check it out.

Everything was beyond my expectations. Glenbervie has a magnificent view of Oban and the Guesthouse was immaculate. Joan serves a delicious breakfast with many choices to salivate over.

Wonderful location. Adorable garden. Only a short walk to the center of town and harbor. Small but cozy room with a good bed and furnishings. Very clean. The host is very considerate of guests and graciously brought us a breakfast basket quite late in the evening before our early morning departure for an island tour.
Wifi worked only within 6-feet of the door. Toilet could use an update, the shower drained slowly and the bathroom needs a fan.

Everything was great. Joan was so very welcoming and a useful source of information. The house is beautifully furnished with a large residents lounge with complimentary chocolates and beautiful artwork. Perfect position for access to Oban. It was a real treat to stay there.

We loved everything about our stay here. Joan our host was lovely, conversational and helpful. The room was great and there is also a superbly appointed guests lounge on the first floor which we used a few times.
Nothing really. It’s initially difficult to find, our Sat Nav hadn’t got some one way street in it, but once found it was easy. Didn’t affect us at all but cooked breakfast wasn’t offered, but the breakfast food options displayed were superb.

We loved everything. Joan is an amazing host. Comfy bed, scrummy breakfasts, great view from the hotel, a true home from home. We felt very welcomed.
