The balcony/backyard gives you the view over beautiful nature; the edge of the jungle. And when you're lucky (I was...), bonnet Maqacues and black langurs come to visit, you can see wild boar, mongooses and lot's of amazing birds... If you're not taking a safari, you'll have an amazing and peaceful time here. I had the time of my life. The owner and his wife are so kind and warm and welcoming. Respectable people.

Bring your own toiletpapier and shampoo, but it's a minor thing. You can buy it in town.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits en famille chez Shibu à Kumily / Thekkady (2 chambres du 1er étage avec vue sur la réserve). Les chambres sont très grandes et confortables et le homestay est très bien situé - tout est accessible à pied ou en tuk-tuk. Ce que nous avons adoré c’est toute les activités que Shibu nous a proposé pendant les 3 jours, spectacles keralais d’arts martiaux et théâtre, journée en jeep dans la réserve de Peyriar, tuk-tuk pour visiter les plantations d’épices ou les points de vue du coin. Vraiment tout est possible avec Shibu ! Nous avons aussi profité d’un délicieux (exceptionnel) repas cuisine au Homestay, on s’est senti privilégié ! Si vous avez envie d’un expérience authentique, c’est à Kerala House qu’il faut aller !

Der Besitzer und seine Familie waren super nett, hilfsbereit, haben Tipps gegeben für Umgebung und Taxi organisiert. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, sauber und ruhig und der Blick auf den Park ist umwerfend. Ich würde sehr gerne zurückkommen und weiterempfehlen.

Séjour tout simplement exceptionnel La vue est géniale et on se sent seul au monde dans la nature. Bref le rêve ! La chambre est magnifique !!! Extrêmement propre Et Shibu et sa famille sont accueillants, doux, arrangeants Bref on a adoré !
