Accueil excellent et très sympathique des propriétaires. La chambre d'hôtes est vraiment très belle et très bien équipée. Elle est très bien située dans le centre d'Espéraza avec une belle vue sur l'Aude. Le petit déjeuner et tout simplement royal. Un régal d'excellents produits frais que nous pouvons déguster dans une très belle salle à manger. Parking juste à côté.

Last minute booking, and it was a great decision! Hosts were nice. Great location within 15 minutes of the places I wanted to visit in the area and walking distance to several restaurant options. Big room, super comfortable bed, and nice breakfast included. I'm hoping to go back and next time with friends.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Roy and Jo were the perfect hosts. Their home is beautifully decorated in the French Art Nouveau style and is a joy to behold and appreciate. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean, light, bright and perfect for relaxing. On arrival Roy took the time and trouble to rustle up plates, cutlery and glasses so we could enjoy supper on our balcony overlooking the River. We slept well in a comfortable bed and the water for a shower was hot and plentiful. Breakfast was delicious with an outstanding selection of top quality produce and great coffee. Esperaza is a great location for an overnight stay and La Maison de la Rivière is the perfect place to do just that.

Perfect hosts, always smiling, excellent local knowledge.
Spotlessly cleaned. Decorated and maintained in the traditional period furniture and effects. Great location with panoramic views of the river Aude. Excellent opportunity to visit so many historical sites, wander the hills and valleys. Excellent value. The breakfast very enjoyable.
