The apartment is located in a renovated manor house, where we spent 5 nights. The place is interesting and very well maintained. You can park in the enclosed garden, which is also great for grilling, relaxing, and spending leisure time. It’s clear that the property was created with great care and attention to detail, which is why it was a bit surprising that there were a few minor hiccups (see below). Overall, the whole place is very peaceful and quiet, and we spent some really pleasant days here, so I’m giving it a high score.
(1) The kitchen is well-equipped, but we would have appreciated a sharp knife and a toaster.
(2) The bedroom windows cannot be fully darkened.
(3) We had the feeling that the host wanted to avoid meeting us in person at all costs. Because of this, the payment process was quite stressful and involved a lot of intensive communication for us.
(4) Since there is no permanent staff on the estate, some unusual issues can arise. For example, our key unlocked the apartment, but it didn't open the main entrance. Unfortunately, we only realized this after returning from a long excursion after 11 PM, when everything had already gone quiet in the house....
