Cler Hotel

Wonderful location on a bustling street with many cafes and shops. A little busy/touristy but also a fair amount of locals doing their shopping. Very close to some of the big sights and easy to get to the metro. The room was small but standard for European hotels and perfectly comfortable for 2 people. Good air conditioning which is often hard to find in Europe. Bed and linens were comfortable and shower/bathroom were bigger than expected and very nice. Good breakfast and helpful staff. We were able to drop off luggage when we arrived early in the day until our room was done and store it there after check out until we were ready to leave the city. Elevator is a bonus although it was small, at least it was easy to transport luggage upstairs.

The room was very tiny. We could not move around in it without stepping to one side to allow the other to pass by. There was no ventilation in the bathroom.

The location of the hotel is amazing, the street the hotel is located on has nice restaurants and food shops including fruit stores, chocolate shops bakeries etc. it’s a short walk to the Eiffel tower which was amazing and close to the metro for easy access around the city. We didn’t try the breakfast as it was an additional charge however this didn’t bother us as we wanted to try the local shops for food which there was plenty of. It’s small and quaint hotel and again an excellent location for tourists.

The downside of this hotel was that the bathrooms were not cleaned throughly enough as we walked into the room for the first time there was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom, although it looked visibly clean it was not due to the smell. We asked to change rooms and although it was a little better there was still a smell coming from the bathroom. If they improve their cleaning then this would be an incredible hotel to stay at.

Elevator ultra small , stairs very narrow dirty carpets and smelly
