Adirondacks - Hill Top Bungalow - Keene, NY-Near Lake Placid
Carino, due camere da letto, un bagno, due piani bungalow si trova su un mezzo acro, due passi dalla via principale a Keene. Situato nel cuore di alte cime del Adirondack Mountain, questa casa offre una splendida vista Cascade Mountain, e un facile accesso a Lake Placid (11 miglia), Whiteface Mountain (nove miglia), Keene Valley (cinque miglia), e tutti i migliori escursioni, pesca, equitazione, canoa, kayak e sci (sci di fondo e discesa) che si può essere cercando! La casa è arredata con tutti i tipi di piccoli 'servizi fuga' - da un futon matrimoniale sotto il portico schermo all'aperto (per un posto letto non-inverno extra per due), un pozzo falò (per marshmallows tostatura), un giardino perenne (con erbe fresche per la cucina) ... la casa ha una cucina ben fornita per ogni tipo di cottura che si vorrebbe fare, un bagno spa-come per bagni rilassanti (in un artiglio piedi vasca), una grande TV ( per i film), e una full-size lavatrice e asciugatrice (per tenervi con abiti freschi, asciutti). [Il nostro piatto, docking station per iPod, ecc, sono più vecchia scuola ... prega di non odiare! Essi sono sulla lista di aggiornamento per il 2017]

Five stars all the way across - I only say 4 for price as Keene and Keene Valley are getting expensive these days. Like everything, I suppose. Worth it, in my opinion, as this is a lovely spot well positioned. And the area is stunning. The house is great, easy to manage, access, and live in. The host has thought of EVERYTHING, and anything you need or might need has been considered. It makes it easy. We'll certainly come back.

centrally located to many outdoor activities. nice to have access to gas, convenience store and garden center with craft beer a quarter mile away. needs some updating but adequately stocked with paper products and soaps. would like to have had a remote for dvd. nice to have wifi while staying to keep up on the weather and plan our days.

Very convenient to down town Keene, hiking, swimming, biking. Very well appointed. Spacious 2 car garage. Super friendly and helpful neighbors. Host really helpful, available and friendly. Price was right. Old and funky. Old two prong outlets and not enough of them. Second bedroom cramped with cheap metal table and shelves for modem and printer. Too small for a bureau. Most windows throughout the house had broken sashes that had to be held up with dowels. Hook and eye locking system for front porch of house. Very difficult to work locks on the screen doors to house. No shelf space in bathroom to put toiletries. Only one rack for a towel. Words for house need to be updated for Wi-fi access(wrong house name and password) and where to put compost. The neighbors let us use theirs because if you put it behind the garage, neighbors dog and other animals get to it. Overall I’d say if you don’t mind old and quirky, the price was right for what you get!
