Location for exploring Merida is perfect, pool area is lovely and breakfast was the best we’ve had throughout our time in Mexico. Staff were knowledgeable and really helpful.

The music was quite loud in the bar down the road but this finished not too late, we were just hoping for an earlier night due to travelling and jet lag. If you had a room over looking the pool I don’t think this would be an issue.

La piscina è un toccasana per rinfrescarsi dopo la visita alla città o le escursioni nei dintorni. Da non sottovalutare l'ottimo bar a disposizione degli ospiti o la veranda dove oziare comodamente. Che dire poi dell'ottima e abbondante colazione servita ogni mattina in una sala arredata in modo eccelso.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were amazing, and the location was excellent. We wish we could have had more time to explore Merida.

Perfect location. Amazing Staff/owner. They really want your stay to feel like you’re at home.

There is really nothing to dislike. We booked for 2 but stayed 4 nights. Nothing was ever to much for the staff. The people coming here, quite a lot of families (both younger and older kids, teenagers and young adults). Mostly people more experienced travelers, gathering around the pool in the afternoon sipping a great cocktail from the poolbar. The rooms are perfect (we tried 2). Spotless clean. People from breakfast really are helping out with special wishing (I am allergic to gluten and they took it very very serious). Don’t doubt, just book this amazing place!

Staff were very helpful with any questions or to arrange transportation or tour if needed. Room was clean with refrigerator, COLD AIR-CONDITIONING, TV, shower,etc. Pool and bar were nice place to relax. Great location. Highly recommended

This lovely colonial hotel is an oasis in the midst of a busy city. We loved the tranquil authentic atmosphere. The staff was so helpful, attentive and personable. Any concerns or problems were addressed immediately. Help with transportation was always available. The cleaning staff was exceptional.

The bathrooms had some quirks (ie: a very shallow sink that easily over flowed) but nothing we couldn’t adjust to. Blankets are thin which I’m sure is fine for most people being that it is so warm in Merida. Extra blankets were available. Overall, our room was comfortable.

Charming independent boutique hotel – great location We had 6 nights staying here. Just a few minutes’ walk to the central square and with a small square on the corner that frequently has dancing entertainment lined with restaurants. Our room on the ground floor was very spacious with traditional décor. The whole place is lovingly restored with impeccable taste and attention to detail by Tom & Don. Tom was a great source of information and experiences. All staff super helpful. Lovely pool bar with great cocktails and happy hour just perfect to set us up for going out for a lovely evening in town. Parking was easy in a very nearby secure lot. Ample lovely coffee pot available in the morning for all to enjoy and chat around. Highly recommended.

Courtyard with pool and bar. Very close to exceptional restaurants open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Arcitectually interesting since it was originally a monestary.

Parking was a block away but not a big issue. Parking lot was attended by very friendly man.

Charming small hotel and lovely staff who make an effort to treat each guest as an individual. Creates a very nice atmosphere in the hotel with guests readily striking up conversations with each other. The free morning coffee is a nice touch which helps draw people together. Tip; the taco place "de la Union" opposite the hotel is a spotless, good value place to have a cheap and tasty dinner.

A couple of the walls need re-painting and the bathroom door didn't close properly. Otherwise all good!
