Wonderful accommodations, very comfortable yet rustic cabin. Appreciated the hot tub and fenced in back yard for our dogs. Loved waking up to the cats and horses. Went horseback riding and took a couple trips into local towns of Wilsborough, Boone and Blowing Rock. definitely need to pull up maps before leaving premises due to no local internet! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the friendly staff!

We stayed at "The bunkhouse" and was absolutely thrilled with everything about our stay! We took our daughter with some friends for her sweet 16th birthday. They wake up open the curtains and watched the horses(while in the warm) and even from the hot tub one morning ! The cats greeted us and stayed on our back screened in porch and was super friendly with all the kids. Hands downs ....a Beautiful cabin and We will be back!

Reviewer Comments:
We stay at Leatherwood on a yearly basis in various rentals. This year was our 2nd year in the Bunk House and found it needs a good cleaning and lots of repairs. We noticed rodent signs in cabinets. We love this place and would lke to stay there again someday.
