Location is superb for things you want to do in the area. Quite neighbourhood. Food and services are excellent in the vicinity.

We had such a wonderful time exploring Mount Ruapehu. We are so greatful for our stay, the customer service was excellent always happy to assist and went above and beyond. Whilst my toddler had a sleep His dad watched him so my 5yr old and I snuck off to the spa it was so relaxing and then we fed the alpacas! The rooms were lovley and warm plenty of heating and electric blankets on all beds and more then enough bedding. Location was 5mins away from all the other accommodations so it was nice and quiet, by about 8.30pm the traffic is completely silent so we got good sleeps. Super close to the mountian only about 10mins in the car! Highly recommend for families and others that like to be self sufficient we made a stew at home and then heated it up for dinner it was perfect with the cold weather. The next night we made steak and mushrooms and all the extras. We will definitely come back next year.
The main bed was quite firm but we still got a great sleep. The TV could be upgraded to a smart so we can connect to our Netflix etc for the kids.

Location was great as usual. Breakfast was very nice.
Bed was a bit uncomfortable. The facilities are getting a bit dated.
Still has that nice Alpine appeal to your visit.
