Friendly and helpful staff. Every interaction was met with smile and willingness to resolve any issue you have. No AC in room but provided fan. Nice touch kettle and tea + coffee in room.
Overall room looks a bit tired. Room had smell couldn't determine if it was dust or mold. Felt stuffy. Also towels smelled stale. Either haven't been properly dried or stayed for too long in washing machine after washing cycle ended or room where they are kept are too humid. If you arrive with suitcase nowhere to put it.

Clean, comfortable, well run quirky hotel. Located in a quiet residential area. I had the budget single room, which is very small, but I expected that, given the reasonable price. Receptionists friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is popular with locals, and the dinner and breakfast I had were good. Table reservations recommended.
It was a 20-30 minute walk to the canal promenade with cafes and restaurants, a bit far if elderly or walking at night.

No buffet breakfast. Need to pre-order but I liked it. Nice and polite staff.
