Tolle Location, uriger Charme, echt „Ruhrpott“, sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, frisch zubereitetes Rührei für den Gast zum Frühstück
Ausstattung der Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück war i.O., Lachs u.ä. dürfte gerne eine kühlende Unterplatte bekommen (bspw Schale mit Eis)

Beautiful characteristic place.
No car charging point (also not in de wide surrounding).
No airco in room which led to a terribly warm night as the sun was shining into the room during the day.

Great historic building. Very friendly staff. Good service that we asked for a quiet room and they gave us the room at the very end of the corridor. Diner was good.
First day that we arrived the restaurant was closed for some reason. The room was a bit basic.

Very impressive hotel in a historic industrial building. Nice staff and the rooms are clean. The beds were a bit small, but very comfortable. In the restaurant Wolperding directly opposite you can get a couple of drinks and food until midnight, on weekends even until 2am. The historic Zollverein site is 5 minutes of drive.
Unfortunately no lift and the reception closes at 10pm (but you can get in and out at any time).

Unique building with special character. Close to motorway. Parking was fine and convenient. Nice staff. Simple but delicious breakfast, everything fresh and high quality.

Was upgraded upon arrival.
Good parking options.

Bed linen should be changed to cotton - it was hot under synthetic sheets.
