Hotel Ariele

Lovely clean hotel with a nice garden area situated in a quiet residential area close to the river. We liked that it wasn’t massive and so felt nice and homely. Rooms were quiet with little street noise. The granola was great as were the breakfast staff who were super helpful. 😊

Didn’t like the price but suspect that’s what you have to pay in Firenze. Despite the fact that the granola was amazing the rest of the breakfast was distinctly average given that we paid nearly £300 per night. It is a tricky walk with luggage from the station but we could walk into the main centre very easily.

This is the best hotel I have had the pleasure of staying at in Florence — and, I would say, one of the best hotels I have experienced in Italy. The rooms are beautiful, modern and brand new, with high ceilings that create an incredible sense of air and space. The views of the greenery and garden are especially lovely after a day of walking through Florence. But what makes this place truly special is the people. The staff are exceptionally kind, attentive and caring, doing everything they can to make your stay comfortable and memorable. And, of course, the breakfasts are absolutely delicious. I originally planned to stay in Florence for just one or two days. Instead, I extended my stay every single day and ended up spending a whole week here. I leave with very warm memories of my time at this hotel. It is truly a place I would love to return to.
