Dar Timitar

At first the road to our stay was a hair raizing gravel road of 2 kilometers. Luckily for us the road was well sign posted otherwise we would have taught we were lost. Once at the dar we were welcomed by the most stunning view one can possibly think of over the Rose valley. Its away from the touristic places and gives one quiet nights away from the crowds. The room was spacious, colorfull and comfortabel. Our room had a terras where we stayed numerous nights looking at the stars. The owners were forever so friendly and kind. Every evening we got a nice meal prepared by the lady of the house. A map was drawn for us so we could find our way around and do some really nice walks. Because of this we saw some stunning places one would never see on your own. We got used to the road and in the end we race at it like madman. A big thanks go's to the owners for the effort they put in and for raizing their family at the same time.

The dinners and breakfasts were fabulous - fresh and delicious. The views from our balcony and rooftop terraces were excellent - for sunset, sunrise, star gazing - all perfect 360 degrees, away from city lights. The family is so friendly, always service with a smile, welcoming - it was an honor to be their guest as they have worked hard to have a place to accommodate us. This is not a 10 rating like a new hotel but rather a 10 rating as this feels like the very best of Morocco. We felt very fortunate to have the opportunity to be here for 3 nights - and to have the best welcome!!!

The 1.5 km road up to riad is steep but passable with with small vehicle.

Amazing panoramic views. The family who run it are lovely and super helpful. Nice rooms and good food. Would recommend!
