Very friendly stuff, nice room, quiet place

Only thing that water was not going through well in the bathroom.

I wanted to write a review to reflect what an absolutely fantastic hotel Dias Suites is. When we booked, I’ll admit my expectations weren’t particularly high, but from the moment we arrived we were so pleasantly surprised. It completely exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful stay. The rooms are fairly basic, but they are spacious, comfortable and have everything you need. Having a kitchenette and facilities to prepare and cook your own food was particularly useful when travelling with children. The pool area was one of our favourite parts of the hotel. It has such a relaxed and calm atmosphere and is perfect for both young families and couples. There is a separate smaller children’s pool for little ones and, importantly, there were plenty of sunbeds. At no point did we experience the usual early-morning rush or people fighting to reserve beds! There are also cabanas around the pool, which were a lovely added touch and perfect when you wanted some shade away from the direct sun. We were also extremely impressed with the all-inclusive breakfast. Having read some previous reviews suggesting there wasn’t much choice, we weren’t sure what to expect, but we found there was more than enough to suit the whole family. There were breads and toast, cereals, continental options, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh fruit and cakes, as well as unlimited tea, coffee and juice. Breakfast was also served for several hours each morning, so there was no need to rush. The hotel serves food throughout the day until around 4:30pm. The portions were very generous, the food was lovely and we found the prices cheaper than many other places locally. Our only small suggestion would be to extend the main food service until around 5:30pm, as this would be particularly helpful for families with younger children who eat earlier. That said, pizzas and toasties were still available later, which was perfect on evenings when we simply wanted to relax and stay within the hotel...

Everything was great, only thing i could suggest to add would be a do not disturb sign in the room.

Nice pool, enough loungers etc and not too busy. Situated in an area away from the busy strip and although it's near a busy road, it's set back just enough to be mostly shielded from the noise. Breakfast pastries were nice (but that's about it!)

Our rooms were in desperate need of renovation. The bed slats were all loose and very creaky. The ancient 21" TV was laughably small and hung so high on the wall that the colour shift due to viewing angle made it almost unwatchable. A bright LED light from the bizarrely positioned emergency light constantly illuminated the room - especially at night. Only 2 available sockets in the bedroom were unhelpfully positioned. The shower area was tiny! 60cm X 60cm with a mixer tap that was impossible to avoid knocking, plumbed incorrectly (hot was cold and cold, hot), a useless shower curtain and a shower shelf hanging off the wall. The toilet flush was feeble. The kitchen had almost zero equipment so forget about cooking anything. A small, random selection of cutlery and crockery and a fridge freezer that appears to have never been defrosted. We defrosted it ourselves on the first night just so that we could actually use the freezer compartment to make ice. I believe some of the apartments have been renovated and the experience guests staying in those would have been better ...but for us in the old rooms it was very poor. The breakfast was the same every day; I wouldn't mind that if it was good ...but it wasn't. Overcooked scrambled and fried eggs, some kind of imitation bacon and an 'orange juice' that tasted like undiluted cordial. There was a selection of other hot and cold items but all very forgettable. A final note about the cleanliness - to be fair, it was very good both in the rooms and other areas. What we didn't like was the fact that all the towels were changed every day - excessive by any measure and not environmentally friendly. No recycling facilities whatsoever.
