Beautiful location, very quiet. The quality of everything was perfect and lots of interesting things to see in the hotel. Check out the library.

Very bumpy road leading there. But well worth the drive!

The hotel and location are excellent. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help. The quality of the accommodation is top notch and the rooms are very comfortable. The food is excellent and complements the rest of the experience. We have stayed at this hotel over several years and it remains a firm favourite.

There is nothing about this hotel that we do not like. My only wish is it was slightly cheaper, however this is the same with everything! All in all we would not really change anything...

Wonderful old hotel in extensive grounds and with a very peaceful garden. Helpful staff. Good restaurant with excellent food (not expensive).

Room a little basic but clean and quite and comfortable.

The building is very nice and in lovely gardens. Staff accommodating and polite.

Sadly, it has a very cold atmosphere...silence. We were unsure if it was even open as it felt so unwelcoming. Bar was closed and very uninviting. We did ask if the bar opened at all, and they said yes if we want a drink. We then sat with no lights on in the bar or behind the bar, so we had to ask for the lights to be turned on as it felt very uncomfortable and awkward. The breakfast we felt was a very poor standard and limited choice for the price we paid. Also, bathroom mosaic tiles sticking to feet and coming off.
