Carol Rooms

Good location in old town. Nicely presented cosy clean room

No lift so need to be able to go up flights of stairs.

The room was incredible value. Perfectly located - seconds from the main strip - the room itself was charming, comfortable and clean. Really all you need!

There were a few times I had questions (if there was a luggage hold, extra towels) and rarely was anyone at the front desk or in the building. Not a huge issue though!

Love the area, great location, room and outstanding price. Would love to visit again.

The bed was comfortable. Relatively quiet neighbourhood and close to everything. Water pressure is great. Parking is 10 euro for 24 h through the host.

There is no terass in the room, but there is one in the hallway that is shared with all the other rooms. It was not fixed at all, there were tools, a bucket, a hose and a dirty table with sandy chairs. The pictures of the terass and the view provided by the host here on Booking do not reflect reality. The view is not towards the city, but of a wall. The host laughed and said sorry when I brought this up. There were dirty dishes in the cupboard, we had to clean everything before we could use it. The shower is very small and one of the doors kept falling off when we tried to open it. Would not recommend this for more than one nights sleep if you have an early flight and want to wake up close to the airport.
