Casa Da Piedade

Casa Da Piedade has a wonderful location. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. We had a late check-in due to our plane arriving late but we received good information to enter the building and our room. We were nicely surprised to find a nice welcome in our room in the form of 2 nice pasteries to end our long travel day. The breakfast buffet is very nice and you can order something extra on demand. We had a big room downstairs with direct access to the garden and pool. The breakfast area has a fridge that can be used by the guests to store personal items for use during the day and in the evening with a simple but handy label system.

Due to the layout of the building the breakfast room is inside. It is a pitty that the very nice garden can not be used to serve breakfast outside. The room was very comfortable but the bathroom is quite small and the position of the toilet is blocking the access to the bathroom somewhat. Due to the small bathroom it is difficult to store your toileteries in the bathroom.

We did not like that our room was almost connected to breakfast room...so was not peaceful in the morning

I love older homes and this had beautiful gardens. Breakfast and staff are great

The beds were really uncomfortable and there was a musty smell and mold on the wall paper. The bathrooms were very dated
